What can't we recycle?
Unfortunately, not all items can be recycled and until we find sustainable solutions a majority of waste will need to go to landfill. We don't distinguish them by material, and we just throw them in a single bin. There are some exceptions, so let's see how to manage the undifferentiated waste.
What do we throw in the undifferentiated bin?
Generally we throw all the items we can't recycle, for example:

Dirty and greasy materials

Receipts

DVDs, CDs and videotapes

Used paper/plastic cutlery

Broken toys and vases
Ceramic containers
other items:

Batteries
Batteries and dead batteries - rectangular, square, round stylus - must be thrown exclusively in special containers at shops, offices, schools, etc. They cannot be thrown away with other materials because they are hazardous waste that contain toxic materials such as mercury and cadmium.
Medicines
Expired medicines must be taken to pharmacies or ASL clinics and placed in the appropriate containers to be able to collect them in a differentiated way and not cause problems to the environment and health.
Neon/led bulbs
LEDs and neon, in fact, do not go to the unsorted bin but must be disposed of separately from solid urban waste. Private citizens can dispose of used neon/LED at the ecological islands, which are equipped with special containers that separate them from the other waste, or directly in the points of sale where they purchased them, these also equipped with special containers.
